Hunting Dogs concern to any dogs who assist humans in hunting. Exist sundry types of hunting dogs created for different tasks. The major hunting dogs include hounds, gun dogs, terriers and cur type dogs.

2- 1. Retrievers: Were classified as a water spaniel. Retriever's role is to find and return shot game to the hunters, they can spend hours in a duck blind, visually spot and remember the location of downed birds. These dogs have large and gentle muzzles. (Water dogs are a subclass of retrievers.)
2- 3. Setters: These ones flush the birds at the hunter's command. They appear to have the ability to located and point at upland game birds.
2- 4.Spaniels: Have been used to hunt for hundreds of years.
2- 5. Pointers: They are trained to find and point at small game allowing the hunter to approach the game.
3- Feists: They are dogs that hunt "small" animals especially squirrels. The Feist was developed in the Southern USA reputedly from small Native American dogs and British.
4- Terriers: Are used to hunt mammals, a working terrier can go under-ground to kill out game. Hunters call them as terriermen.
5 Curs: Hunt similarly to terriers, these ones are used to hunt cougars, boards, raccoon and other large mammals.
